depends wot lb/ft you will be running
as f20, in short, means, it can handle upto 200 lb/ft

f20 is designed to take 200 ft lbs of torque, f28 is 280 etc

But wont last long... depends on driving style, droping the clutch at 7k starts then no but squeezing the power in just right then you'll get a fair few miles outa one...

The F28's are pretty bomb proof. Loads of people run over 300bhp with them without troubles, I dont think I've ever heard of anyone uprating them.
You can try the F20, if you have a mint box and drive sensibly then you might get and it might last. Depends if your going to mind if/when it does give in. Leaving you off the road and searching for a F28. Easier to do things right the first time, and 6 gears are usefull to have.

Id love an F28, for the price of an F28 and the fitting kit i could buy at least 4 F20 gearboxs
