I know its a bit egotistical, but would be very satisfying to get one done My install is going in next week (2500w RMS, 2 12" subs), got the 2.0, bodywork is perfect after the respray, you reckon i got much more to do? Do you have to send pics off or just go to more meets? How many people on the boards have had features? I know there have been a few!

Would prefer to stay away from max power, but something like total viaxhall would prob take quite a bit more engine tuning etc to get in to appeal to the mass market not just the younger people. Hhhmmm

I thought it would be extremely hard to get Corsa's featured now as they have been done to death theres always one a month i used to remember when i used to read the mags

It would take something very special like Iaz's or Beardy's car

Mags will take anyone's car - just have a gimmick, a story or a gash car.

It would be easier to get it onto the pages of Total Vauxhall than say Max Power, but they've all got to fill a certain number of pages with feature cars so just hassle them.

Wrong. Any gash Corsa would make it into the mags nowadays. I don't think they like cars with big engines - normally it has to be a 1.2 before they'll even consider it.

Yes, the cars in Max Power now are generally suited towards the 14/15 year old kid and 16 year old moped driver demographic.

my old one had a small feature in total vauxhall. it was a 1.2.

had plain standard engine, and crap standard interior, but the body was very nice, so it got a feature.

i had me flaming corsa featured in total vaux and was not overly special, also got it in to fast car and was offered features with revs and redline but that was after i had gone with fast car!

u just gotta send them pics and keep nagging them, expect lots of phone calls, i did and got there in the end! was lucky to have my car featured, most cars on here are betta than me green car! iaz

If you're after a proper feature (like 2/3 pages) then mags ussually look for cars with one-offs bits and pieces or cars the first with a bit of new kit etc. Stick some 22" rims on the corsa and you'll get in no prob

Personally the only mags I feel are respectable are Redline (the staff are quality and a lot of it included their cars are funded personally) and Total Vauxhall.
