corsa `b` 12v 98.

can i fit a gearbox from a 1.4 ? and does it need to be the later ecotech type gearbox (with no cover plate for the clutch or not ?

I think you will be able to, all corsa gearboxes are the same design, just stronger versions...

cheers. its a late astra gearbox i think (one without a section for the clutch removal in situ) , just wasnt sure if the input shaft would be the same size..
