I have a smooth boot and tonight found my boot wont open, its wired to my rear wiper switch but nothing happens now?!

Any ideas how i can open it?

theres a metal piece of wire behind the panel, push this down and ur sorted

Yeeee manually push it downwards it will...
I never bothered with a solenoid on my C i have to climb into the boot every time to do it!
