As title, my mate has a rover 25 and rags the fuck out of it, its only a 1.4 and he managed to get 125mph on the motorway out of it (down hill with wind behind of course!!) lol.

He's an idiot when it comes to driving, blew his headgasket a few weeks ago and was moaning 'this car is cursed' lol. hummmm..... wonder why it keeps breaking down?

Anyway, if you know what the cause of petrol smell could be please post it up so i can let him know.

my 400 with same engine could do 125 easy... eventually when it got there, wasnt in the red either... so chances are he's got a dodgy pipe or summat, at that speed hes just chuckin fuel away anyway
