How much would it cost me to buy a 1.6 corsa sport engine and get it fitted to replace a 1.0 litre engine.

Less than £1k

Engine loom and box will be about £500/£600, then pay someone to fit it, and you would need to upgrade the breaks too....I recon about £1500ish....mine cost £1600 and that was just for a replacement GSi engine!

less than1K for definateYa could have had a 2litre 16v engine fitted for £1500

engine about £200 to £500 depending where you buy.

labour £150 to £400 depending who you goto.

i can get a 1.4 16v sport for £350 whoel car!!! and i can get a man to fit fo r£150 so £500 fitted. am sure it wont be that much more for a 1.6 16v!

could get a fully re-built 1.6 with a few mods fitted for that

well mine was 8 months old with only 8k on the clock, new clutch fitted and gearbox rebuilt....doh

Sell your car and buy a 1.6 WOuld probably cost you about £100 to £500

£200 for engine, part ex his only 1.2 and i fitted it for free
