the rocket cover has yellow shit on my 8v sri 1.4 how the bugger do i get that off? ive hard you can but this stuff that u spray onto the engine and all the hoses etc everything and them leave it ti loosen the shit then jet it off! would this clean the yellow shit off me rocket cover?

dunno wat all that yellow stuff is on the rocket cover... but i could neva get it off mine.

u can use engine cleaning products to clean all the dirty and gease from the rest of the bay.

its like a laquer that gets sprayed on the egine bay when they are new to seal it and make it look good for a while...but over time it just bakes on and discolours, best bet is to take some really fine grade of wet and dry paper to it then degrease it all and jet it all off covering all electrical components.

i used sand paper mate sanded it off !

hi mate the yellow stuff is spray on greece and it will never come off trust the only way is as c crazy said sand it off or go to vaux and buy a new one will only be bout 50 quid and will look nice and new but the yellow shit will never come off

U can also buy nice new shiney chrome or colour coded rocker covers
