Basically component sets consist of 4 speakers. 2 large speakers which give you the lower end stuff such as bass and middle frequencies, and 2 small speakers called tweeters that give you the high pitched tinny stuff.
The crossover is the device that filters out the signals that the speakers arent designed to reproduce.

Didnt like the sales assistant u bought them from tell u nething?
U'll need to go to halfords or sextons (most leadin ice retail thingies) to get some adaptor plates b4 u fit them.
infact ask some1 to do it for u.
will only cost 15 or so & seein as u avnt got a clue what to do with em it'll save alot of trouble.

^^^ was thinking the same.
Best off to get some Focal comps. Get the Access ones if you're on a budget (£120 ish) or the Polykevlars if you have money to burn. Top components
As soon as my colour coding, suspension kit and exhaust is all done then i'm moving onto the ice

good luck!!
jus kiddin. Don't listen to him...he's windin u up (although there is some truth in his statement)
It all depends how fussy you are really. I'm sure the Pioneers will sound good enough.
I'm runnin Alpine comps...they sound immense.
