their is no Official time!!
as vauxhall never made a 2litre 16 corsa!
ive seen 0-60 times from between 4.5 to 7seconds
standard one in 7seconds easily, and obviously the more modded it is the quicker this is

Mine does that at the moment - standard airbox with a different air feed and a Pipercross panel filter. I'm also running an 4:1 ratio of Optimax:BP Ultimate fuel for massive power gains across the rev range.

Kent Cams
Vernier Pullys
Ported Head
Janspeed Manifold
Lightened balanced flywheel
on XE with Coscast head
Terminal speed was 88.4 mph (i think) and actual time was 14.217
Tis getting there slowly. if i can find myself a runabout, she'll be off to SBD over the winter

can be done easily, SBD can tune this engine up to 290bhp with normal aspiration. Stick that in a corsa and see the wheels spin in 5th unfortunately, the corsa has quite crap aerodynamics compared to the astra mk2 and esp the cavalier, which had very low drag.

You must have had one helluva good 60ft time to do a 14.217 with such a low terminal speed. My nova did a 14.065 with a terminal of 101.92mph.
Thats also a very very good time with a relatively low spec engine. This sort of spec Nova's seem to get 14.5s.
Where did you do it?
The Calibra is the daddy of aerodynamics.
Swindon Race Engines got 296bhp I think from the XE for the Cav touring car.
lmfao at wheel spinning in 5th

Hmmm terminal speed looks a bit suspect for a 14.2
Its all about getting the power down in first I find that theres alot of wheel spin and some in second if you launch it with out this happening the you could reach the low 6's easily
