is there a 100% set release date for this yet??? I've done doom3 now, so need sometrhing new to play

I thought it was good...

bit short, but given the amount of work gone into it I would of thought it would of been longer.

but the demon/devil/boss thing at the end was piss... think i lost about 7 health in that battle

From what I can find out about HL2, its 'pencilled' in for September release, but Vivendi aint confirmed it.

just hope its better.. i wouldnt be bothered if the graphics were not as good as doom as long as it has a decent story to it!

doom 3 i feel will be used more as a benchmarking tool in a few months, as it really does push systems.

Mind, what I was happy to see in Doom3 was the little 'mods' option on the main menu, so as soon as some mods come out for it (doom rally anyone?) i'll be getting them.

i LOVED!! duke nukem..

and the games that came from that.. NAM etc.

loved quake!

i remember getting it and it was teh first 1st person shooter were you could walk round the dead boddies and they didnt move round with you.

i raced the Lemans for 24 hours.. solid!
