best from vaux, although it might be worth a motor factors one if you save a few quid.
The fuel filter is just in front of the drivers side rear wheel. You need to get to it from underneth.
It has push and twist fittings I think at either end. Basically its a case of unclipping each end, being aware loads of fuel will piss out, undoing the bolt (13mm?) that holts the bracket for it onto the car, putting the new filter in, making sure its the right way around for the fuel flow, do up bracket, re attach fuel lines. Start car and check that there are no leaks, pat yourself on back, remove can of fosters from fridge, indulge.

as miles said, little tip use long nose pliers to depress the clips on the fuel filter so you can pull the fuel lines off the ends

Cheers for that.
Not sure i like the idea of fuel pissing out all over me but i imagine i could put my thumb over the ends of the pipe!
Should be a 10 minute job then?

its a 7.5 minute job, lol, make sure ya depresurise the fuel system by either waiting half hour after switching engine off or by removing fuel pump relay and turning engine over

I'll have to work fast then cos i can only spare 6 mins!
Cheers for the advice, it sounds pretty simple really. It should hopefully stop the kangaroo effect when i lift off the gas.

When you unclip one end of the filter just leave it to drain out.
Its well worth doing on any car that you dont know when it was last changed.

And dont worry bout it pissing out, if the system has depressurised then it will run out, not spray.

can get little fuel line clamps, one of these either side will help to stop fuel leaking
