what thickness mdf should be used? it's to mount a 12'' sub and amp to (thing keeps rolling around in boot  )

yeah, half inch should do it, anless its an actual enclosure for the sub, in which case youll be wanting 3/4 inch

18mm for the lot - will add to the sound deadening if you bolt it down well enouugh, especially when you get pissed off with the rattling and cover the whole boot in Dynamat
