What thickness is the headgasket compared to a standard one and has the head been skimmed?

Its just that the thicker head gasket is gonna lower the compression of the engine slightly. If the head has been skimmed this will make up for it. If not the lower compression could lose you power.

The other mods you mention all working together should give you an extra 15 to 20 bhp I guess! To get the most of of them you should get some sort of piggyback chip to sort your fuelling! Should be sweet matey!

Yeah, Id say 160bhp at the very least!!! On my old car before the throttle bodies went on, I had cams, head, chip, filter and exhaust and made 176bhp (if I remember rightly?)

The chip was the Courtenay one? Not sure how much it was tho!?

Did all them mods at once so I couldnt really tell you if it made a massive difference! You just need summat to increase the fuelling a bit really to keep up with the mods! Youd probably be able to do it with a fuel pressure regulator to be honest!

a decent software upgrade will help, but without a strong internal engine i wouldn't advise anything stupidly powerful, maybe just something which bumps you an extra 25-30 horses, if it's a fairly oldish engine then look at having a rebuild first, as the ecu doesn't know what condition your engine is in inside, they are designed to perform the same wether the engine be new or old.

Why you'll ever need an uprated head gasket, let alone a double thickness one I'll never know. I guess its the Z20 one if its from Autovaux?

The induction kit offers no performance gain, although I suppose its all you can get to fit.

The powerflow depends on the bore of it really, who knows what performance if any that will give.

That leaves the cams on a standard engine, depending on which cams they are etc will decide the power you get from them.

I would defo recommend a unichip now though.

Also remove the AFM meshes and do the throttle body mod.

I wouldn't get a superchip or anything along those lines.

To make the most out of the cams you will need some kind of specific map, its so worth the extra £100 for unichip.
