For fook sake,, just after i spend over 2 grand on a near total rebuild, some woman decides she is going to drive the wrong way around a roundabout!!!
It's a big roundabout but the thought the entrance and exit lanes were a split for a give way!!
She obviously didn't see the double solid white lines and keep left bollard eh??
Anywayz i now need a new front bumper, bonnet, headlights, both wings, radiator and windscreen
ARSE!!

i'd just had the front bumper and bonnet resprayed. There is a chance it is a write off as well now, upon having a closer look especially as it is a 10 yr old car, it's in mint condition but i'm not totally sure how much A1 Gsi's are worth!!
It happened on the big roundabout past tesco in tring...............
and yes, she is insured............................
still tho, the car owes me about 5 grand (suspension, engine etc) and i'll never get a decent price on it

hmm, although they are real ones, despite lots of peoples views.
I wanted to strip it out and make it stupidly quick but it was too noisy so i made a bit of a comprimise. bonnet pins were already in!

btw, roughly how much is a standard X16XE GSI worth, M plate in A1 condition with 74,581 miles on the clock??
(as insurance are only likely to go on the standard value- the joys of a modifying a car eh!?)

unlucky mate.
guess at the value between £2k and £2.5k due to low mileage and A1 condition
