modern engine with fuel injection and sensors all over it will be a pain in the ass.

a more basic engine on carbs or something would be easier, but it's still gona be a cunt of a job. have to fabricate new mounts, and work out some way to get drive to the wheels.

not gona be a simple job at all.

what engine were you thinking of?

not that difficult
you only need mounts, drive shafts, wiring and plumbing.

Even a fairly modern fuel injection engine wouldnt be that difficult so long as it wasnt the very latest fly by wire.

Could try vtec, cosworth, vr6 alsorts of options!

Would you be able to make hybrid driveshafts? Say you decided to put a Ford Cosworth engine in a Corsa for some dope reason, would you not be able to mount the engine into the car using custom mounts with the Ford gear box and have drive shafts that fitted into the Ford box and Vauxhall hubs?

Are the splines custom cut or are there set standards, cos I would have though that somone would have the equipment to cut them somehwere

would be economical if you were getting a big batch made up, but you'd get raped as it'd be a one off.

there would be no point at the end of it all, apart from a truly unique car. The Vauxhall engines should cater for all tastes, be it lightweight trackday engines, to hefty turbo monsters.
