hmm , whats da cheapist place for alloy wheels ??? every1 gets et 45 as its easyer to get tyres ect (cheaper)

ET45 is easy to get simply because not that many manufacturers make wheels that go upto ET49, so et45 is the general accepted allowance.
Get some nice ET49 Technomagnesio alloys and you'll be able to get 18s on with the same mods. :-D

Ive got a 1.0 as well, you might as well look at it like this, without an engine swap its never going to be any quicker, so you may as well make it look as good as you can...

technomagnesios are £880 from PA.com and 599 without tyres. Where can i get cheap good tyres from for 17's or 18's

on my 1.0 i have 17 and its not lowered and it rubs, the wheels came of a corsa and he had no problem, im going 2 drop it 40mm and get the archs done

Ive tried fitting 60mm springs at the front of the car though, and it does not go any lower to the 40mm springs. I think its because the shock absorber simply does not let the drop happen...?
