I own a 20XE, no it's not worth it, the bloody thing is in me workshop, the door on my workshop is too small to get my crane through so teh fucker is on a pallet propped up with a piece of wood. It fell on my leg the other day and the cam studdig cut a nuce hole in my calf fucking heap of crap

worried that they wont be different

these engines are top probably the best engine vauxhall made, not like the shit that was in ur astra

yeah got that wrong, book figure is 8.5,(thats the 125 bhp model, and mines was the earlier 117bhp model, but had jetex full system,and de-restricted airbox, which brings it to about 124 bhp, this isnt a guess,I know sumone with identical car to mine and he got 126bhp on RR with the jetex system de-restricted airbox and pannel filter.) but still isnt that much difference, 1 second. (and my insurance will double)

u got to say mate what do u want from the car ???

2 things off the top of my head about my corsa

great power to weight ratio

can lick most things on the road from the get go

and the simple fact it feels much faster than a standard 1.8 astra will

I want something with good acceleration, feels fast, Fun to drive and sounds good (Induction kit and exhaust system, eg scorpion grp A)

Also what do they handle like? as corsas arent the best chassis handling wise

good coilovers with the correct pundage springs and it will be acceptable
