Following my thread about the ICE setup, would the following setup run nicely??
Audison LRx1400
1 Ohm Stable
High Pass Crossover
Low Pass Crossover
Mono Output
RCA Input
RMS Output 1 x 350 Watts @ 4 Ohms
RMS Output 1 x 650 Watts @ 2 Ohms
RMS Output 1 x 900 Watts @ 1 Ohm
Subsonic Filter
Will it run
2x Focal 21-V2
Subwoofer: 210mm.
Single coil: 50mm.
Motor: 120mm.
Max. power: 400W.
Nom. power: 200W.
Sensitivity: (2,83 V/1m): 85dB.
Frequency response: 40Hz-500KHz.
Impedance: 4ohms.
Suitable for closed box applications 12-20 litres.
Or should I go for:
Audison SRX1 running 2 x JL-12W0-4
When i worked out the whole setup there was only 100 odd quid difference inbetween the two different kits, just after advise. Some people have told me that its not safe to run 2 subs from a mono at 1 ohm, but as past threads have shown, some of the people i speak to about ICE dnt know jack sh*t

The LRx 1.400 will run those wo subs fine, itl be running at 2 ohm.
The subs nominal together is 400w rms the amp will give 650w rms so be careful on the gains but yeah it'l sound good.
The 21's are 8"arent they....
The SRx with the 12W0's will be louder, but it wont have the quality the focal setup has.
