Is it posible to break a rib without noticing? i didnt think so, but i am in loads of pain when i stand up, sit down, cough, laugh - pretty much doing anything! I helped work move office on sunday, so there was a lot of lifting, carrying tables etc but i dont remeber when it actually started on sunday.

I dont think i've strained any muscles: A) there arent any to strain,
B)When i tense i cant feel it

My mam has 'ordered' me to go to the hospital tonight if i am still in pain, but i think that i would have noticed!

its probably a muscle

and yes u have muscles around your ribs

And that hurt for ages, so like i said if your rib was broken im sure you would know
