whats the best thing to use to join wires together i.e ive tried to fit a rev gauge and the wires wont reach so i need to lengthen them???

use a soldering iron, but if your not confident, buy a set of butt end connectors and some crimpers

connector block or those tube things you use a crimping tool to join two ends...
