Via solenoid.

Seems to work, goes clunk, click. But doesnt actually open

Is this likely to be the solenoid or the boot catch?
Can someone post me pix of their lock to make a comparison?

has the bar come out the solenoid? mine did this about 2 months ago

check the solenoid is pulling enough. pull offf the panel, and operate the solenoid. mey just need tightening
