it's the amount of bass you want per corner, (speaker)

iam sure you can split it left and right, front and back, put the amount of bass you want on each speaker rather than the lot.

Your talking about the bass time allignment I think which is the same on my 7998R? It puts a delay on the subs, each 1 is a millisecond... Its so you can get the 'kick' just right...

I got the alpine 9833 and it's like u need a degree in alpine audio-tronics to set the bloody thing!!
