garage wanted to charge 8 hours labour to fit doors? takes me and my bro all of a minute per door trim takes an extra 3 mins

the garage wanted to charge £280 labout (8hours) to fit it al, but my bro is a mechanic for audi so shouldn b a problem. i should get the doors by wednesday next week and fit em on sat/sun.

go to scrappies and get some , then while your at it get em smoothed in . my paintshop wanted £180 to do both doors and paint em

ive seen it take 6 hours to hang a door properly, its not easy so 8 hours isnt over the top

You might get lucky, find a car in a scrappy in the same colour and with both front doors. I got one for £35. Phone around you might find one.

richie - remember we gota hang the doors (not easy), fit the glass, elec mirrors, elec windows, all trim etc, 2 two doors, wont b a quick job! phoned round al the scrappies, these were the only 2 i could get, ones white, unsure of the other colour.

ive now go the car parked here below my bedroom window:

how about getting a couple of doors and doing all the prep work (rubbing down, priming) yourself to save more cash?

then fit or the bits like cards, windows etc your self afterwards and get the bodyshop to hang em

id rather jus leave the work 2 the bodyshop as i need the car back asap mate.

gona do al hte fitting myself tho.

nothing happened to the car last night, but i might have an idea of who it might be. neighbours said the car had a loud exhaust, only a few cars in the area like that
