was this company (play.com) originally based in the states?

or was it always a UK company?

Yeah tis based in Jersey, British colony but customs and tax wise its not hence the games/DVD's are so cheap.

Always been in Jersey, but for legal reasons thier site that sells region 1 DVD's is called PlayUSA.com...
