i have "aquired" family guy season 1 & when i go to play it there is only sound. says something about a codec error


any ideas???? i know fook all about pc's

probably fixed by going to divx.com and downloading the divx codec (free).

I got that with a few .mpg's and .avi's on Windows Media Player.
So I went to http://www.videolan.net/ and downloaded that player (for free) Plays everything and never have a problem.

Just Divx, matt, as it's free. Pro costs money or gives you adware. If that doesn't sort it, you could try XviD from this page, http://www.divx-digest.com/software/xvid.html . It's under kopehi's binary, download number 1.
