howdies all,
just been playing around with a track idea, so was just wondering what people thought - >> HERE <<

and on top of that, can any lyrical genius please come up with some lyrics or rapping rhymes etc etc so i can see about getting them wacked on top

BIG UPDATE - updated again with tuned vocals

well after a few hrs peeing about today, i wacked some vocals over the top. At first they didnt go, but ive been peeing around with eq'ing and compressing the living day lights out of the vocals and tune and ive come up with a new taster - >> HERE <<.

Whats peoples opinions on this? Is it good enough to play around with the idea of doing a remix?

its only a mb or so mate, and its only a snippet about a minute long But its like a slow hiphop, the streets type song i suppose. But strings and softer

but yea, i really need some lyrics and im crap at those...but i think it could be a really good track with some rhymes over the top and a femal vocalist

i see what you mean about trying to put lyrics over it but i really cant think of what you could put over it. its abit too slow imo

sounds a bit like the streets in aweird kinda way. It sounds good, but needs something to finish it off (to my ears anyway - I don't know the first thing about making music btw:lol got potential to be a good tune I think.

Have you made anything else lately, loved the other stuff you posted a while ago.

matt h - yea it sounds slow, but its actually 136bpm which is similar speed to that of trance/house/dance etc but yea lyrics will be hard

graficxpress - yea, it does sound abit like the streets, sounds like dry your eyes or something like that. But yea, i know what you mean about something missing...but hopefully some vocals/lyrics over the top will sort alot of it out plus a better structure of it all.
As for other stuff, well yea mate ive got loads of bits and pieces but majority of it is still in idea format

cheers mate, i use a mixture of things, but majority of it produced in Fruityloops it then gets split between cool edit, t-racks etc for mastering If im doing stuff with lyrics then everything gets exported from Fruity into Protools for multi-tracking with lyrics.

yea, its difficult - i was thinking changes by blokey (forgotten name lol) but it didnt fit

hendie - apart from the 1,2,3 bit at the end, the rest fits perfectly lol fancy doing me some lyrics?

argh that accapella has been done 2 death mate, get rid of it!! and the track isnt in tune with the vocals, sound horrible

well it is in tune might be a semitone out (my track is in F and the destiny childs track is in G, so its only 2 semitones different originally) at the worst...but obviously that would be corrected properly, if i did a propper remix.

hmmmmm, i know what you mean about it being done to death but it does seem to go - but then again i have been listening to it solid for the last two days

it was the only track that i thought could fit over the top...ill carry on searching out acapellas and see what i come up with...but if more people say it sounds cack then ill deffo change it

but cheers boss, much appriciated for taking the time to listen, its helped me loads

edit: no your right mate, it isnt in tune ive been a complete arse muppet and tuned the vocals the wrong way for some reason i thought my tune was in F, but its A major oh wells, and update will be done in a few secs

i used 2 have loadsa shit on my pc, i got lodsa cool vocal samples and sounds etc u could have. theyl al work in fruity too

To everyone - UPDATED AGAIN it should be in tune now, but still sounds screwed

dave - sweet dude, any chance of paypal'ing (once i worked out how to get cash out my bank account, fucking thing wont let me do it) you some cash and wacking the stuff on some cds? my samples stretch to about 2 gigs or so (excluding acapella stuff) but more samples is always better

bigste - cheers mate, the vocals are becoming abit of an arse to get right...but its the only thing at the minute that seems to fit

anyone else got any comments on this?
