I think Joff should be the new classifieds moderator

And where does it say that i the rulebook??

Wouldn't you rather send a cheque to someone with the protection of ebay, than any old crook in here who can't be traced??

It doesn't say it in the rulebook, it's common sense and courtesy to use CS to advertise items for sale immediately, and then use ebay to sell items up for auction sold through ebay with all the so-called protection that ebay offers.

Would you take out a classifieds advert in the local paper and just list an ebay URL?

I accept paypal, but you'll have to add 4% to cover fees.

So, if someone spots a set of cheap 17's for a Corsa for sale on ebay, you don't think it's right that they mention it on this forum?

Well, you're entitled to your opinion.

Not sure where comon sense comes into your argument and I can't say that I agree with the courtesy point. (Exactly what is discourteous about plugging an ebay item in the classifieds? It's not like I'm emailing everyone with the link or posting it in the Help Zone)

I think you were just bored and you've taken this too far to let it go now.
So I'm going to do it for you.
Au revoir.

P.S. COULD EVERYONE PLEASE IGNORE THE FOLLWING LINK TO MY COMPETITIVELY PRICE RADAR/LASER SPEED CAMERA DETECTOR

Thankyou and goodnight.

It's discourteous to Ian and Tim who have spent time, effort and money on building up the reputation of CS, only for you to use it as a notice board for off-site links.

Maybe you could have put all of your ebay links into one thread, but no that would be too sensible. Instead you post half a dozen threads.

Bienvenue.
