weather to get a saxo vtr or get something with a similar insurance group (group 7). got insured on a nova 1.4 for 1800 quid so its high for me cos of all me convuctions etc. so saxo seems like a safe option. i got bout 8 grand but want something new/newish! but obviously insurance is the main thing here! cheers any suggestions?

i am starting to like the ford focus, and the 1.8 and 2.0 are quite low insurance, not that sporty tho.

yeah tel me about it not that sporty the thing is i just wanna keep the looks standard and concentrate on few engine mods. i was lookin at astra sxi. if i was to get an astra i may irmsher(sp) kit it but thats all! astra 1.6 sxi is a group 6/7 i think!

i dunno ive gone off fords especially the focus cos its so big and my current ford the gearbox has just blown

fuckin things! so what ya reckon guys would a saxo be ok i suppose its got 90bhp can i get a car with better bhp but same kinda insurance group?

I'd get a 106 GTi if i could afford to insure one but the Saxo VTR IMO is the next best thing.

if i broke a ford gearbox
and ive broken a fiat one i doubt the saxo one would be much stronger?

only gearbox's i havent killed is the vaux and bmw one's

astra sxi 1.6 mk4

saxo vtr 1.6

106 quicksilver 1.4

just wanna know is the quicksilver better to tune or has any one any other suggestions???
