Fancy giving it a go, always wanted to get into motorsport. What would I need to do? license etc? any info would be cool - does anyone do motorsport?

Probably cost a fair bit id assume, our company runs a stock car and it costs about £20k a year - we ran in some championship tho!

easiest is to get some money together and get into the clio type races Otherwise, you can enter into the irish RC (i think its that), but you obviously need serious amount of cash behind you and a team etc etc

tbh, i would sign up to MGs rally competetion - if your really good, you get a contract with them to race in the 1400s

I did that MG comp, set one of the fastest times too

Looking at an Evo RS, maybe a 5 Just want to find out if I need any special license etc - would only want to do clubman events etc as I'm not sure I'd be that quick to start with

you need a competition license which costs about 100 quid,

the car needs to meet the standards for the events you want to do (cage, extinguishers etc.) ,

local clubman stuff is the way into rallying.

im building a chevette rally car.
