As above, installed my ps2 in my car today, only problem is, it comes out in black and white, the screen is from japan, but is panasonic(so is decent)
i think it is pal/ntsc although i may be wrong.
any ideas why its not colour?

a mate was hooking up his pc to his tv on a tv out connection.

that was black and white to start with untill we went to the settings and changed it to pal from ntsc.

may be something similar.
does the screen have a menu where you can select the format?

oh right, yes it does have a kind of menu screen, well have a butchers!

the monitor is probably set to NTSC, and recieving a PAL signal from the PS2

and it was all in japanese! sorry i didnt reply mate, was at a mates and didnt have time! prolly wot they said about pal/ntsc.
