i would just like to say that if the gov did not make money on taxes from smokers they would have to find other ways, so if the whole of the UK was banned smoking just think when your filling up your car, you could well be paying double what we pay now or when you get your pay packet through, tax can be raised on that. These are just my thoughts on this btw.
there is a bit of diffence, but surely us car drivers are putting other peoples lives at risk if you think about it, but i guess thats ok WELSHDUDE becuase you drive a car

lol at "Welshdude, you say smokers are selfish, but you keep going on about how smokers effect YOUR life, and how YOU may suffer, that seems to me as your being selfish, only caring about yourself"
Out of interest how old are you?
If you had read the hole of my post you would of seen that i'm not selfish in my manner at all. I dont know if selfish is the right word for you, i think its more along the lines of ignorance, only believing in what you think and not taking note of other peoples comments on the matter
Im 19 btw

You can't really start saying things like that because think of the pollution generated by power station etc They probably throw out more gases into the air in a day than my 1ltr does in 10 years lol

fecking hell mate why you so anti smoking you lost some1 because of it?
i used 2 have the odd fag at school cos i thought it was 'cool' and then smoked a fair amount of weed for about a year but now only the odd spliff .
and fair enough yes passive smoking is bad for you and being in a smoky room hurts my eyes but there are places like oceana in mk that have good ventilation and some1 can have a fag right next to you and not even notice

smoke about 6-10 a day depends what I'm doing really.
Gave up for 3 years a while back. Put on 3 stone, regretted it ever since. I enjoy smoking so don't care either that it 'stinks'.

Never have and never will. Emphysemia doesn't seem to appealing to me Seeing and hearing people die of lung cancer everyday is also a good reason not to!!

I quit a week and a half ago -- my god it's weird! Had smoked for like 6 years...
I understand people being so against it, but at the end of the day there are endless arguments I could make about your affecting my quality of life, but most I'd also be a hypocrit for bringing up (so I won't )
