DONT BOTHER

Its an absolute shambles of a film, apparantly a remake of a Japanese film.

its a pointless film for numerous reasons
1. it has Sarah Michelle Gellar in
2. even tho its an american remake it still directed by the original director
3. if its supposed to be an american remake why still use more than half the original cast
4.has about 4 (at max) scary moments
5.what happened to the father of the house, his son who was killed came to haunt along with the cat, and so did hs wife, he commited suicide but didnt haunt no one

You all know nothing.

The film is brilliant and full of suspense all the way through. The mood is perfect for a horror thriller. A horror film doesnt have to be full of gore and full of cheesey sex scenes to make it good you know.

An american remake means it had the financial backing of investors and production companys. It doesnt mean it has to contain american actors and be actually set in america.

I think youll find also that the father was in the bathroom scene with his son.

One of the best films out this year.

i thought it was pretty good, wasn't very scary though, made me jump once at the begining, but there was a gal sat behing me with her hands over her eyes screaming 'tell me when its over!' lol, also some twat who randomly started yelling 'AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!' in the middle of it for no apparent reason.

Biggest piss take was how they ended the film! can so tell theres gonna be a sequal in a few months time.

The original is better, but confusing coz all the jap people look the same when you're not paying complete attention.

And was more storyline to it.

Liked the American version as well though, very jumpy.

Was gonna post this last night, but i've posted it in every Grudge thread there's been and couldn't be arsed
