40k is the norm for cam belts on Vauxhalls .

Ditch it wont cost that much for cambelt change, cud be dun early hours of sat morn and you have the rest of the weekend with it

Shouldnt take long really, but remeber the tensioner may need doing too .

Oooo good thinking batman, only took about 2/3 hours for the vaux monkeys to change it on my old corsa.

Shall look into this now!

mine only took 2 hours and that was with T.S motorsport in bushey, do u know the one armed dude? fury or something that works there?

they say 60k for a 8v and 40k for a 16v id change the rollers and tensioner as well tho for peice of mind mate

plugs every 2k? whats the point.

oil every 2k, perhaps on a massive spec engine but not an ordinary XE
