Stewart Downing is awesome in it  Signed him from Arsenal for £5.5m + Jeremie Aliadieire... took an age to do the deal though, the deal kept falling throuhg so in the end I had to offer him a big big deal and pay over the odds :S
Whos a good goalie to sign coz whenever I try to sign 1st choice ones they always get rejected, even for big £££ 
I tried to swap Gerrard for Viera but that keeps getting rejected

Also, I always end up paying over the odds for people because otherwise I always get rejected I don't gvie them long to think about it though and I alwats try to give them 20% of next sale to keep £££ down but nowt

I am Aston Villa, finished 4th in my first season, signed Crespo for about 2.5mill and he scored loads. In my 2nd season i am 2nd and played 3 won 3 in champions league! Signed about 6 players on free transfers. Ricardhinio, Ortega, Hartson, Ponte, Javi Guerreo are ones i can think of. Bought Hertha Berlin defender, finnish international who is quality. Frode Johnsen i bought is quality.

How u sign people for free? I tried to make a £0 offer for someone who i knew was out of contract and it was rejecte d:S do i hasv 2 wait until after 1/31 jan?

basically when a player rejects a contract he goes on a bosman which allows you to sign him and he will then join you once the transfer window is open. do a player search and search for contracts expiring, instead of 'make a offer' on a player a different option 'sign player' appears underneath, u offer him a contract. if the players under 23 you pay abit of compensation to the players club.
