normal one is a bit boring the GTi 180 is better but insurance group 18 or something is a bit over the top.

the 135 model aint up to much
too refined for a GTi
handle well though

The 136bhp GTi gets alot of bad press but it's not really that bad at all. It depends what you want. If you are looking for a hot hatch to leave the rest behind then you will be dissapointed but if you want a balance between reasonable performance/equipment/space and comfort then its a good car. The 180bhp version is a different animal. The handling is up there with the best in the class and 180bhp in a 206 isn't slow. You also get a really nice interior and good spec.

Mahooosive bad point of the 180 is that the gearing is shite and really doesnt do the engine any justice.
