the reverse light switch is on top of gear box, u can see it just sticking into it, has a wire coming off it, pull that off then it just needs a socket or spanner.

check the bulbs in the rear lights
if you fitted 1 incoractly or put the wrong type in or 1 bulb isnt fitted right it will do all of the above

i think ur right mate !! but i cant get to bulb holder due to install
