whats it like as a job mate?
ive been thinkingabout steering away from music stuff and going into a tv media area instead as either a sound man/engineer or something like you have done.
What sort of person do they look for? And what experience do you need?
sounds good though mate

ive started at the entry graduate level, all they wanted really was some knowledge, a relevent qualification, the right attitude and a good personallity. you get trained on everything, and its well easy to pick up. I'm lucky because this company is one of the few willing to give young people a chance and will train you up.
If you dont have any experience you may need to do some work experience for free for a bit to bolster your CV, try mandy.com which has loads of jobs paid and unpaid. keep an eye out on media guardian and manchesteronline, because these jobs pop up all over the place, but get some work experience done, you may start making brews but once they get to know you they will give you more and more stuff to do.
Go industry to get into well worth it.
