On the way to max power yesterday, i was goin about 80 and then suddenly my 'Control indicator for engine electronics' on the speedo came on so i pulled over and stopped and then it turned off, so i started off goin again then after a few mins it came on and then went off after about 10 secs. It did this once more and then it didnt. Then on the way home the car was running fine and went up to 90ish down a hill for a while then it came on again and then went off after a few secs, and hasn't done it since.
Wot could be the problem? Any ideas?

happened a few times on my old 1.4 8v, just out of the blue!
ended up being a dodgy connection on the ignition amplifier & also the alternator had a bad earth
being an 8v there isnt relaly much that can make it come on, but do a paperclip test - i cant remember the link exactly, but its on this site somewhere

It'll be the single sided spiggot ring bolt thats the problem.
