We have all the computers connected by network cables connected to a central switch, then the PS2 is connected to this too. Works well. We use a computer to share the internet, but a router could easily replace the switch and computer.
IE.
PC(s) <- Router -> PS2

Ah right, so you cant go out of your network adapter with an rj45 and into a wireless network box then?

Hi there... ive wired up the ps2 to my network this weekend for shits and giggles...
basically straight through cable it into your router ... and should be alright... no need to piss about with config in the ps2... its common sense on the setup screens within the game you want to use... I use it for FIFA2005... anyone out there wanna game... ill be up for it !
