First BB bonnet i'd ever seen. Drew lots and lots of attention that particular weekend.

Only Cost him £150 to have the bonnet done too, this was back in what, 2000/2001?

I remember that car, I took the pic

Not only was that styling very unique in its day, it's also dated very well. You might even say timeless. Sweet motor.

That was when 17s were large as well!

Always loved the look of that car since i first saw it. Think could do with some better wheels on it - Would look even better with some Speedlines/Softstars on it .

Only a 1.2 16v engine though.

No, but this car was about and was whey ahead of its time. No-one had a smoothed in scoop like the above for ages after. Most were all just stuck on top.

Cheers daimo, I knew i've seen that car before, the lad that owns it now stays about 5 miles from me, Jamie is his name hasnt got the scoop any more and has a smooth rear.

was at billing 2003 on the vxlscc scottish region i think

looking just as sweet

i wonder if he cut the steinmetz grille? some heartache involved if he did i'd imagine.

also think it was on some softstars, dont quote me though

This is an oldie, I pass this car nearly everyday, he even still has the Raffinos on it (which he might be selling to me), it now has no bump strips down the side
