maplins for about 7 quid.
simple push pull solenoid, 12v.
just attach it to the long rod to the catch. and secure it to the boot lid with brackets

go to scrap yard, find a ford escort (j-reg ISH) and rip their boot lining off and unscrew the solenoid out of that. its pushes aswell as pulls depending on which way around you wire it its what i have on mine and has never gon wrong. cost me a quid lol

if u fit a solenoid to ur boot do u have to grind part of the existing boot catch?
