do u mean the b pillar crack - pre 97 corsas had no structural support and they crack really easy -Mine had to be redone just after I had the car - and although people say it doesnt last - mien havnt cracked again - nearly 3 years on

ive had a strengthening plate welded on the inside - the b pillars rewelded and wahey

As far as I know its caused by chassis flex as opposed to opening and closing the doors

they cut a section of the b pillar off my car - top and bottom and welded 3.5 mm steel plates top and bottom - then welded the b pillar back in place

Rachels 2000 - W had to go to Vauxhall to have hers fixed, they were only small cracks, infact tiny but I have seen what those small cracks turn into so got her arse down there quick.

Early Corsa's were all re-called because of it.

I think the correct term is stress fracture.

i would say it wouldnt be cheap as the paint would need to be blended into the whole rear panel and blended into the doors,

"Model history and safety equipment

The Corsa was introduced in April 1993. For the 1996 model year the Corsa features door beams, driver's airbag, front safety belt pre-tensioners and height adjustment to the front and rear safety belts as standard. A passenger airbag and ABS are available as options but were not fitted. "

not sure how accurate this is
