is the formula i need to work out area for my ported sub box. i know Vas=34.53 and Qts=0.328.

but i dunno wat the ^ symbol means...

20 x 0.328 ^ 3.3 x 34.53 = box volume in litres

if i know what this symbol means, i'll be laughing... kinda...

no worries, ive decided to stick to sealed box.

I'm thinkin that with a sealed box ill be less likely to cook my sub coz coz i got the air spring the sub. thats the theroy anygay, correct me if im pete tong.

well ^ normally means to the power of (ie. 10 Squared = 10^2)

volume of a ported box is roughly 50% larger thn a sealed...

its not the box size thats really important tho, its the port size and length that make the difference as to tuning...

If you want ported to sound good u need the RIGHT port.
