I'm lowered 40mm on 205/40/17 et49, with de-bolted rear arches, reakon i could go 60mm?
atm i can get a full car load and no rubbing!

You can go as low as you like, providing you put the work i unnder the arches. 60mm drop is easy though.... I got that with a set of 18's after an afternoons work with my air tools and hammer

Thats down 70/75mm all-round with 7x 16 et45 and 195/40/16 rubber. Rear and front arches are de-bolted at the top and the rear arch lip is shaved back and it doesnt catch. The 195/40 rubber makes a big difference but is a touch more pricey. BTW I dont drive it round that low at the front, front is now 60mm drop.

what do you need a roll cage for? you take it on many track days? or just a mad driver?
i saw a mini a month or so back which had a fiber glass roll cage which in my opinion is more dangerous than not having one at all

im even lower than tomas above. i have the same rims, on the back the arch is over the metal part of the rim, and on the front i think its about another 2cm lower.
you can go as low as you like, but you do sacrifice ride comfort
