I've bought a classic game made in the 95/98 era and i cant get it to work

The game has to be intstalled and ran from an MS-Dos prompt, so i've installed the game from off CD from the command prompt as i should...but when i run the game (again from the command prompt) i get the error "please enrure the cd is in the drive and the MSCDEX drivers are loaded)

now....when it comes to installing DOS drivers...i havent got a clue

I'm using windows 98 if anyone has any ideas
