Just had a text from someone, but you know when it brings up the box on the screen that says '1 message received', well it showed part of the message in that box instead, just replied to it, and I can't find the original message anywhere in any folders in Text Messaging or Multimedia Messaging?

Turned the phone off and on again and still can't find it, only message I can find is the one I just sent!

Phone is Nokia 6230.

that used to happen to my mate and she only had a 3410 nokia

prolly just a one off thing

Yeah must be. Never happened before I don't think.

I'm bored of my phone now I wanna get one of those Motorola phones the one that's like the size of a credit card, last time I looked they were about £450 SIM free!

I had problems with my 6100, everytime a text came through it saved in the archive n not the inbox

no, u can send messages that instantly appear on your screen

i used to have the software to do it on my 3310 through my pc

messsage comes up like the "your balance is 10p" ones and is lost once a button is pressed

So it might have come through as a 'service message' as opposed to a normal text?

It's weird though because when I opened the message, it had the person's name at the top of the screen and usual stuff in the text, so

Just had another text from the same person, come through exactly the same as the other message! WTF?!

There's no text message icon at the top-left of the screen either?
