I know it must be hard for people who dont know anyone involved but just think about the people who were.

I heard a good comparison on the radio the other morning that made me think about the scale of lives lost

there are 121 thousand people living in norwich
there are 150 thousand people killed so far in the disaster

Venom turbo.. i understand what yoursaying.. alot of my mates just shrug there shoulders about it and say well natures nature if it's gonna happen its gonna happen... i dont know anyone involved but my Uncle in Darwin was very nearly involved he usually goes to bali for Xmas but after the bombing 2 years ago he hasnt been back... he was due to leave for phucket (or fucket as my gran says) just before Xmas when he fell i'll and wasn't fit to fly... so in that respect i still watch whats going on and talk about it as he was so close to be being involved in it

Sad and all with all those people dying... Think about it though, we have managed to raise £100million in aid for the disaster fund, but every day 14,000 people contract the AIDS virus... How many people survive that? None, yet you don't see people collecting loads of money and helping out those people do you...

dunno if its just me, but everyone is aware of it now yeah? so surely they can start 'advertising' it a lot less, show it on news less, and the money they are saving from this, donate directy to the people who need it...
