I lowered it 50mm, but it caught on the arches, so had to put the springs back to standard.

Yes, that's more like 54-56mm.

Did you take into consideration the size of the wheels, the angle of the surface the car's parked on, what engine is in the front, what load is in the rear, how much petrol is in the tank, what pressure the tyres are set to?

What brand of -50mm springs have you used? Have they had time to bed in?

The truth:

Lowering cars is bullshit

Yes, buy FKs and lower the car the visual amount you desire. You can't lower a car to a set measurement of "-x mm"

So why bother with lowering if you're selling the car?

Because the lowering kit that i bought was cheaper than any other standard or unstandard kit that i could find to repair my knackered suspension.

Is that ok with you?

Whether it's ok not with me is unimportant - it's your car, so do with it what you want. I wasn't requesting that you get permission from me first.
I only wondered why you were lowering a car you're about to sell.

Cheers Infinitycorsa.

Joff, whilst your opinions regarding my car are unimportant, they are still greatly appreciated.
