I thought you were going to say that a some stage. I know that the noise is air being forced back through the turbo, but everyone refers to it as the waste gate LOL

Erm, you mean the fluttering sound? If so, id change yer diverter valve......
No I've got a carbonio intake it's not the sound of a knackered DV
hmm, weird, cant see how you can hear the wastegate tbh mate, recirc valves just make a woosh of air which is the turbo boost going back into the system. Wastegate chatter isnt normally heard afaik.

I know what you are saying and been in discusion about it before. Maybe it is the DV on it's way out. I may get a new OEM one and see if it makes the same noise.
