I f i were to put 30mm lowering springs on my corsa with 16's would they rub and also would the springs bugger up my car or not?

no they would not rub depending on tyre profile 45s would be fine but springs would nacker dampers! wont last 10 mins m8

will be fine as long as the offset of the wheels is ok, et 42-49

My mate says that you can turn a torsion bar in the boot to lower the rear. is this true?

lol it is but not for corsa it usually saxo and pugs and it aint in the boot lol

springs on their own will b fine for a 30mm drop! had mine for over 2 yrs now and haven't had 1 problem!

yeah, ive heard bad things and good things, i would rather just get springs as im gona sell my car in the autum and jsut leave the springs on it without loosing to much money/

get eibach 30ml springs. expensive, but you WILL regret getting anything else. these springs are matched to standard dampers

i got a gmax 40mm set up from demon tweeks last week, £270 inc. fitting.
i have 1.6 sport so heavy engine but no real probs - it does scrape front arches when i go over some bumps tho.
got speedline alessios 16"

Mines lowered 60mm amd sitting on et49 16's. I have G max dampers and uprated springs to take the extra weight of an XE. I get a slight rubbing on cornering, so you should be fine.
